Before & After School Care for School-Age Children in Kenosha, WI
The Big Bird Room
We open at 6:00 AM, serve breakfast, and make sure your child gets on the bus to school on time. After school, we provide homework help, activities, and a healthy snack in a safe, supervised environment.
Before School Care
- Center opens at 6:00 AM
- Breakfast is served every morning
- Bus to Jeffrey Elementary departs by 7:10 AM
- Supervised free play and quiet activities
After School Care
- Bus arrives from Jeffrey Elementary around 2:35 PM
- Afternoon snack provided
- 30 minutes of supervised homework time
- Outdoor play (weather permitting)
- Games, crafts, and group activities
Schools We Serve
We provide direct bus transportation to and from Jeffrey Elementary. Students from other Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie schools are welcome. Parents are responsible for arranging transportation to and from their child's school.
Year-Round Care
We provide care during winter break, spring break, teacher work days, and all summer long. Your child always has a place with us.
We are closed only on the following major holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day and the day after
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
