Building Security
- Secure entrance with controlled access
- All visitors must check in at the front desk
- Only authorized individuals may pick up children
- Photo ID required for unfamiliar pickup persons
Outdoor Safety
- Two fully fenced outdoor play areas
- Age-appropriate playground equipment regularly inspected
- Staff supervision at all times during outdoor play
- Shaded areas and water available during warm weather
Staff Qualifications
- All staff members are background-checked
- All teachers meet or exceed Wisconsin DHS standards
- Ongoing professional development and training
- CPR and first aid certified
Emergency Preparedness
- Regular fire drills and severe weather drills
- Written emergency procedures for all staff
- Emergency contact information on file for every child
- First aid supplies readily available in every classroom
Health Policies
- Sick children must stay home (fever, vomiting, contagious illness)
- Handwashing routines throughout the day
- Regular cleaning and sanitizing of toys, surfaces, and equipment
- Immunization records required for all enrolled children
